Available Maine Coon Kittens in Kansas, Missouri, and Beyond
At August Maine Coons, we are proud to raise exceptional CFA and TICA registered Maine Coon kittens just outside Kansas City. Our kittens are bred from health-tested parents with outstanding temperaments, beautiful structure, and strong show-quality lines. Our breeding cats receive comprehensive Wisdom Panel DNA testing for more than 50 genetic health conditions, including conditions relevant to Maine Coons such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, spinal muscular atrophy, and polycystic kidney disease. We also go beyond DNA testing with cardiac echocardiograms and hip/patella evaluations on all our breeding cats.
All of our Maine Coon kittens are raised directly in our home as part of our family. From their very first days, they are exposed to everyday household life including children, dogs, vacuums, doorbells, and normal activity to help them grow into confident, loving companions. Socialization and temperament are just as important to us as beauty and size.
We actively show our cats in both CFA and TICA cat shows across the country to ensure we continue improving our breeding program and producing Maine Coons that represent the breed with excellence. Our focus is on raising healthy, well-socialized kittens with the gentle personalities and impressive looks the Maine Coon breed is known for.
Reservations for our Maine Coon kittens typically begin around 6 weeks of age once personalities begin to develop. We encourage families to submit an application early to receive updates on current and upcoming litters. We love helping families find the perfect kitten and are honored to be part of so many happy homes across Kansas and Missouri but also in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, North Dakota, and beyond.
The adoption process is simple and transparent. First, complete the Kitten Application and await a confirmation text or email from us. We’ll then discuss plans and answer any questions you may have. Once approved, you’ll be invited to place a $500 deposit, which is non-refundable but applied toward the final price of $3500.

Nova × Percy — Their Final Litter
We’re excited to share that Nova and Percy are expecting kittens very soon!! This litter is especially meaningful to us: it will be their last litter together, as both Nova and Percy will be retiring from our breeding program afterward.
Nova is our beautiful Black Tortie girl, and Percy is our CFA Champion black silver classic tabby and one of the foundation cats of August Maine Coons. Together, they have given us kittens we’re incredibly proud of, including our homebred girls, Nala and Maisey. We’re looking forward to welcoming their final babies and watching their personalities develop. Past Nova and Percy litters have given us a beautiful variety of kittens, including red, black, tortie, and silver. We can’t wait to see what their final litter brings!
Kittens are expected to be ready for their new homes in January. Reservations will begin when they are approximately six weeks old. If you’re interested in this litter, please fill out our kitten application to get started.
We are excited to share that Maisey has been bred to Edgar! This litter will arrive in November, with kittens expected to be ready for their new homes in February.
Maisey is our beautiful homebred Silver Patched Tabby/Torbie girl with a gorgeous muzzle, excellent structure, and the sweetest, affectionate personality. She is both a TICA and CFA Champion and has completed all of her recommended health clearances, including genetic testing, HCM screening, and hip & patella evaluation.
Edgar is our handsome Brown Classic Tabby boy and has had an incredible show career. He is a TICA Double Grand Champion and CFA Grand Champion. Edgar has completed all of his recommended health clearances, including genetic testing, HCM screening, and hip & patella evaluation.
Beyond his titles and beautiful structure, one of the things we love most about Edgar is his exceptionally sweet personality. He is affectionate, easygoing, and incredibly loving—and we have been thrilled to see that same wonderful temperament come through in his kittens. His babies aren’t just beautiful; they tend to have the loving, people-oriented personalities we value so highly in our breeding program.
This will be Maisey’s very first litter, and we are so excited to see what these two produce together! We will update our website as soon as her pregnancy has been confirmed. This
We also have a unique opportunity for families hoping to welcome an Edgar or Percy kitten sooner. Very close breeder friends of ours welcomed litters sired by our males. Some of those kittens will be available before Nova or Maisey’s future litter is ready to go home. These are breeders we know and trust, they do the same health testing and socializing. We are happy to share their babies alongside our own available kittens.
Approved families will have the opportunity to consider both our upcoming kittens and these kittens when looking for the right fit for their family.
If you are interested in Nova or Maisey’s future litter—or would like to hear about other kittens available sooner—we would love to hear from you. Please fill out an application on our website to get started.
2 Black Silver Tabby Males, born 7/21/26 and are currently 12 weeks old and ready! They have had 2 sets of vaccines, microchipped, and from our boy Percy.
These brown tabby and white kittens were born 9/3/26 and will be ready to leave around 12/8/26. These kittens are from our boy Edgar.
